The Barber Museum opened in downtown Birmingham, Alabama, in 1995; by the time the 880-acre park and the road course had opened to the public in fall 2003, the museum had moved into a majestic, 144,000-square-foot custom building on the new site. The museum was expanded in 2016 and now covers 230,000 square feet, including display space, storage, and, of course, the restoration shop. Mr. Editor John Ulrich got a behind-the-scenes look at where the bikes on display at the museum are brought back to life and kept in running order. It’s in the November issue of Roadracing World!
