Design Camp

About

Barber Design Camp 2026 is here! Rising 5th-6th grade students will dive into the world of science, technology, engineering, art, math, and design at the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum and Park! Students will engage in a variety of hands-on activities, from designing model vehicles using computer aided design and artificial intelligence to learning the mechanics of motorcycles. With access to the Museum’s incredible collection and the park’s inspiring setting, students will ignite their creativity and problem-solving skills while having fun. This camp is perfect for young innovators ready to dream big!

In addition to offering TWO weeks of Design Camp, we’re also happy to announce a new program – Advanced Design Camp! This camp is the next step for rising 7th-9th grade innovators ready to take their skills to the next level! Building on the foundation of Design Camp, students will deepen their experience with computer-aided design, 3D modeling, and 3D printing while exploring engineering and robotics through the lens of motorsports. This weeklong experience is perfect for curious problem-solvers ready to engineer boldly, design with purpose, and push their creativity into high gear!
