Advanced Design Camp

About
Advanced Design Camp is geared for rising 7th-9th grade students ready to take their design and engineering skills to the next level. Building on the foundation established in Design Camp, this weeklong experience gives students opportunities to dive deeper into computer-aided design, 3D modeling and printing, coding, and robotics.
Students will move beyond introductory concepts to develop more sophisticated designs, explore the process of prototyping and iterative design, and see how digital ideas become physical objects. They’ll tackle hands-on challenges that encourage creativity, precision, iteration, and problem-solving, while drawing inspiration from the Museum’s world-class collection and the technology and design behind motorsports.
Advanced Design Camp is ideal for students who enjoy figuring out how things work, creating solutions, and turning their ideas into something tangible. With an emphasis on design, coding, and robotics, students will gain practical skills while discovering new possibilities in the world of motorsports and beyond.
